Pourtier can supply heavy-duty rotating machines to produce all types of power cable: overhead, submarine and low, medium, high voltage and extra-high voltage.
It manufactures heavy-duty stranders, cablers and armoring lines for ferrous and non-ferrous cables, and in the field of submarine and umbilical cables it offers a complete range of stranding, paper lapping, cabling and armoring machines. Its high-efficiency multi-wire concentric stranding line is used for low and medium power cable production. The company states that all of these machines are made with high standards in design and manufacturing for the production of all types of high voltage and extra-high voltage power cable, from overhead cable (including ACCC™, ACSS-TW and ACSR-TW) to insulated AC cable (using Milliken conductors) or DC type (using large, round compacted conductors or trapezoidal wires) up to 127 wires.
