Madem-Moorecraft doubles production in Denton, Texas
Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA has doubled the production capacity for nailed wooden reels at its manufacturing plant in Denton, Texas.
The newly opened plant has completed the installation of its second manufacturing line for nailed wooden reels. The new production line is the most advanced in the global group of companies, integrating technology for smart production, energy efficiency and customization. A second assembly and distribution warehouse, dedicated to the Texas market, was also added. The company currently has more than 200,000 square feet of space in Denton, for nailed wood reel manufacturing, plywood reel manufacturing, wood reel recycling and distribution.
Madem-Moorecraft, a joint venture between Madem Brazil and Moorecraft Reels (USA), operates two manufacturing plants for nailed wooden reels in the USA: the one in Denton (which includes the plywood reel manufacturing line), and one located in Tarboro, North Carolina. The company also has assembly and distribution warehouses around the USA, located in Texas, Arizona, Georgia, Ohio, West Virginia and North Carolina.
The wood reel recycling program operates in all of the company's locations, and is linked directly with the customer base. Future assembly, manufacturing and distribution locations are under consideration to meet market demand.
