While known for complete wire drawing lines, Lämneå Bruk's focus in recent years has been on coiling and automated solutions, such as the No Twist Coiler (NTC) portfolio. With hundreds of successful deliveries since its development began in 1992, the NTC can enhance productivity and efficiency for wire manufacturers, achieving higher outputs in wire drawing and uncoiling without requiring modifications to existing set-ups.
The NTC's unique coiling technology replaces traditional gooseneck and spooling methods, delivering perfectly pattern-laid, twist-free wire coils weighing up to 4.5 metric tons in inverted carriers. This innovation reduces scrap and increases productivity. The larger wire packages also mean fewer operation stops and more efficient shipping to customers. The NTC is designed with sustainability in mind, offering energy savings via the payoff system using inverted carriers.
Lämneå Bruk also offers dry drawing machines tailored to diverse production requirements. These machines have improved cooling systems to prevent block overheating, featuring special V-grooves for enhanced cooling and dual coatings (zinc inside, tungsten carbide outside) for optimal thermal management and durability.
