Schlatter North America

The Schlatter Group is an expert in plant manufacturing for resistance welding systems for reinforcement mesh, industrial mesh, wire weaving machines and cold-rolling, drawing and stretching technology for specialised solutions.

The company's reinforcing mesh systems are designed for the flexible production of reinforced concrete mesh. The systems offer high availability and productivity, short changeover times and a consideration for specific local quality requirements.

Schlatter industrial mesh systems are used in the production of dimensionally accurate meshwork in a variety of application areas, such as appliance shelves, shopping trolleys, point-of-purchase display stands and gabions. The modular systems can be quickly and easily adapted to different products.

The fencing mesh systems are used in the production of dimensionally accurate meshwork for both small and large lot sizes.

The company's cold-rolling, drawing and stretching technology offers safety, reliability and efficiency in the production of wire. The CRL cold-rolling lines are designed to produce smooth or ribbed cold-rolled steel wire for reinforcement or industrial applications. Multi-draft machines with vertical or horizontal capstan axes are designed for drawing/rolling of low/medium carbon steel wire. The STR stretching/re-spooling line is designed to produce high-resistance/high-ductility steel wire for concrete reinforcing elements.

In the weaving segment, the Schlatter Group offers wire weaving machines under the Jäger brand, as well as crimping machines. In addition to weaving machines for simple aluminium fly screens, the company produces machines for high-precision stainless steel wire filter fabrics or platinum alloy catalyst gauze.

For the production of heavy protection and fence fabric such as screen gauze, Schlatter can provide automatic or semi-automatic mesh weaving machines that can process high-strength wires from 1 to 18mm in diameter. The crimping machines required for this process for cross and longitudinal wires complete the series of finishing products.
