Benvic SAS
Stand: 11 A77
In the challenging role of being a compounder for the cable market, Benvic is continuously developing new products and capabilities. In a changing market, the company reinforces its halogen-free, flame-retardant (HFFR) Linkflex range highly processable HFFR compounds first launched in 2020.
Range extensions in 2023 included fibre optic cable with optimal flame retardancy; adaptation to local markets for low-voltage based on thermoplastic and cross-linked compounds; and 1 kV cable offering compliance to various standards, with innovation to remove the bedding operation.
Continuous improvement programmes are also based on low-cost solutions that keep the main performance. Colour options based on market standards will be an option available in 2024. A focus will also be on medium- and high-voltage cables. This segment is facing continuous development with new solutions, and Benvic has an upcoming range later in the year.
In addition to HFFR compounds, Benvic is present in PVC and thermoplastic elastomers, which give extensive compounding capabilities for different applications such as electromobility. By creating original solutions for recycled content integration, care for environmental performance is part of Benvic's development.
